Strange Pastures is a small, family-run card company in Cary, North Carolina. We make funny birthday cards, and we put out new designs every month.
How the cards are made
Each card starts with something everyone knows, like a surprise party or blowing out the candles, and then takes one turn you don’t see coming. We write a lot of jokes. Most of them don’t make it.
Every card goes past the whole family before it’s printed. If it doesn’t get a laugh around our kitchen table, it doesn’t get printed. The cards you see here went through more than thirty rounds of family review.
Made to last
The cards are printed by a professional press in the USA on thick 12 pt matte card stock, so they feel solid in your hand. Each one is 5x7 and comes with a white envelope.
Every design is our own. You won’t find these jokes on a rack at the drugstore.
